WINNER FIRST STEPS AWARD 2021 I JURY STATEMENT:

EDITOR NOTE
The montage has focused on surrealism, dreamings, myths, indonesian culture and poetry.
I wanted to create a second layer that tells about the inner world of the main protagonist.
About his needs, emotions and wishes, which he is not allowed to live out in his society.
It was an attempt to let reality, myth and dream flow into each other,
so that the borders between them might disappear.
This work turned out differently than originally planned, but I throughly enjoyed it.
It was a bit like playing as a kid (with beautiful material).
